Gameplay & Online Programmer - Game Designer - Unity 3D

      Greyhound Race is a multiplayer racing game created in 6 months by 10 people. It has been realised as part of a final studying project.

 

     The game is easy but very innovative because. The players who are in pole position create the track with his movements. The other people have to pitch again each other on this road or take the place of the creator of the road to win the game.

 

      There is no checkpoint, no finish line but only the road created by the player at the head of the course in a futurist environment.

      Players have a really huge liberty not only in the way to create the track but also in the way to win. Indeed, the player who first obtains 40 000 points wins the game.

 

      The creator of the track, called the Tracer and the other player, called the Greyhound, can gain points with racing action. So, it’s possible to win the game without been Tracer once.

          Game Prototype, Teaser Video and Artwork have been made with the cross-platform Game Engine Unity3D.

 

    With my previous experience in programmation, I worked on the game's network, road creation programmation and implementation of all features on network. Thanks to my game Design skills, I also participated on the Game Design during the pre-production status.

 

    It was my first project in which I spent a lot of time in programmation. Thanks to this project, I am able now to program easily with Javascript language and to define a online service to a game.
